Panel API: Available panels
With the Panel API, you can integrate:
- Multitab panels: These are pre-configured tabs grouping multiple single panels. The four default multi-tab panels include: Publications, Relevant Fields, Peers & Partners, and Trends.
- Single panels: Individual visualizations or rankings that focus on a specific content type, such as: News or the Visual Explorer.
- Custom multitab panels: You can create your own multi-tab panels by combining different single-tab panels based on your requirements.

Publications

With the Publications multitab panel, you can explore and read documents relevant to your search. They allow you to dive deeper into the content, gain critical insights, and identify trends, innovations, or breakthroughs within your area of focus. Whether you're conducting in-depth research or seeking actionable intelligence, the Publications panels offer a way to discover, filter, and read documents.
Each panel offers access to up to 500 results. Clicking on any document will redirect you to the external source, allowing you to access and read the full content.

- Web: Lists web search results within your search domain, filtered by innovation and technology. This feature enables you to explore relevant web-based content, including innovations, market trends, blogs, and other sources tied to your area of interest.
- News. Lists news articles from public feeds and outlets within your search domain, focusing on innovation and technology. It helps you track real-time news, signals, and emerging trends, providing valuable insights into market movements and innovation-focused developments in any field of interest.
- Science. Lists scientific publications, including peer-reviewed articles, conference proceedings, and books, within your search domain, based on selected metrics. The Research panel allows you to analyze global scientific activity, advancements, and trends in innovation and technology.
- Patents. Lists patent filings and utility models from over 150 patent offices worldwide, with details on inventors, applicants, and technological areas. This feature helps you monitor patent activity, analyze IP trends, and track technological innovations in any field of interest.
- Projects. Lists funded research projects from European and U.S. funding bodies, providing insights into ongoing and completed research. It enables you to track funding sources, explore project topics, and identify potential collaboration opportunities.
- Standards. Lists standards from recognized international bodies such as ISO, IEEE, and ASTM. This feature allows you to monitor industry standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and align innovations with current practices. Track the regulatory standards shaping innovations in any field of interest.
- Podcasts. Lists podcasts relevant to your search domain, focusing on innovation and technology. This panel enables you to discover and listen to discussions, expert insights, and trends from thought leaders and industry professionals.
Relevant Fields

With the Relevant Fields multitab, you can explore industries, technological areas, scientific domains, and topics relevant to your search through dynamic visualizations and rankings. This feature allows you to map your query to its broader context, revealing connections, trends, and opportunities across various fields.
Below is a summary of each panel. Click the links to explore each one in more detail:
- Relevant fields rankings: Lists of up to 250 fields relevant to your search. Explore fields relevant to your search using the search bar in the top panel.
- Related topics. Pinpoint relevant topics—from technologies to materials—using MAPEGY’s thesaurus to refine your research.
- Industries. Discover economic sectors aligned with your query.
- Scientific fields. Investigate foundational research and directions across science domains for strategic alignment and collaboration.
- Technological areas. Displays technological domains based on patent classifications, supporting technology scouting and strategic planning with related publications as references.
- Visual explorer: An interactive visualization tool to explore hierarchical industries, technologies, or scientific fields, revealing interconnections and related publications for deeper insights.
- Topic map: Interactive visualization mapping related topics into clusters, grouping similar subjects closely. Highlights connections, key focus areas, and provides related publications for deeper analysis.
These panels include references. By clicking on a topic, you can access additional information, such as matching documents (e.g., news, patents, research papers, research projects, and standards) relevant to the subject and your query.
Peers & Partners

With the Peers & Partners multitab, you can explore rankings of relevant organizations and visualizations.
It provides a comprehensive view of key players, collaborators, and regional hubs within your search domain. It helps you gain insights into market dynamics, identify opportunities, and understand the connections driving innovation.
Whether you're conducting market analysis, scouting for partnerships, or evaluating regional trends, the Peers & Partners tab offers valuable tools to support your research.
- Peers & Partners rankings. Lists of 500 organizations relevant to your search. Use the search bar in the top panel to navigate through the list. Clicking on any organization opens the reference section, where all fields are displayed along with relevant links and documents related to that organization.
- Companies. The Companies panel offers a list of leading companies in your search domain, ranked based on selected metrics. It allows you to identify key market leaders and competitors, spot emerging innovators and smaller specialized organizations, and discover strategic partners for collaboration or acquisition.
- Startups. The Startups panel highlights the leading startups in your search domain, focusing on companies that were not active eight years ago. Ranked based on selected metrics, it enables you to identify emerging companies, evaluate early-stage solutions through funding, patenting, and research activity, and uncover investment or partnership opportunities with innovative startups before they scale.
- Public institutions. Lists the leading universities, research institutions, government agencies, and other official bodies in your search domain, based on selected metrics.- Identify leading universities, research institutions, and government bodies that are contributing to innovation in a specific field.- Find potential research collaborations with institutions.- Monitor public sector innovation and understand how government initiatives, public funding, and research policies are shaping specific industries.

Trends

The Trends Tab provides a detailed exploration of key developments, emerging topics, and market dynamics related to your search.
It provides insights into significant events, forecasts, market performance, and innovation trends, helping to identify patterns and understand the broader landscape.
- Trends ranking: The Trends Ranking highlights up to 100 curated topics and emerging technologies relevant to your search, ranking them by their disruption potential or hype level. This helps users identify and focus on the most impactful trends.
- Wordcloud: Offers a clear visual representation of the most relevant trends and emerging technologies. Larger terms indicate higher relevance and signal strength, making it easy to identify key topics at a glance.
- Events: Vertical timeline that provides a snapshot of key events over the past two years, highlighting significant milestones and trend shifts in the context of your search.
- Forecasts: Predictions from relevant news articles, organized along a timeline. It provides insights into past and future forecasts.
- Market reports: Provides insights into market size and growth, showcasing current Market Capitalization and CAGR for markets related to your search.
- Investments: The trend chart illustrates yearly investment activity related to your search, providing insights into funding patterns and highlighting top-funded companies and emerging players based on various metrics, uncovering potential investment opportunities.
Clicking on market reports and forecasts will take you to the external source. Clicking on trends and investees will open the reference section, providing detailed information, including matching documents related to the item and your query.
Innograph stats

Additionally, you can integrate panels displaying our InnovationGraph data. These panels can be embedded into your website or application to inform users about your data sources.
- InnoGraph Stats Summary (single tab panel): Provides a summary of the total number of items available for each entity.
- InnoGraph Publication KPIs (combo-panel): Displays key metrics, including total news articles, patents, scientific publications, and research projects. It also shows the number of items integrated weekly, along with the earliest and latest entry dates. Each panel within the combo can be added separately.
- InnoGraph Publication Sources (combo-panel):
Highlights the sources and the number of publications by type, covering news, patents, scientific articles, and research projects. These panels can also be used independently. - InnoGraph Player KPIs (combo-panel):
