Publications: Research Projects
The Research Projects Panel is a valuable resource for exploring funded research projects from European and U.S. funding bodies. It helps you track ongoing and completed projects, understand funding sources, project topics, and identify potential collaboration opportunities in your field of interest.
The data in this panel is updated periodically, frequency of updates depends on the source.

Panel fields and filters
Here's an explanation of each field available in the panel:
- Project: The title of the research project.
- Country: The country where the research project is based or primarily conducted.
- Grantor: The organization or funding body that issued the research grant.
- Grantee: The number of organizations that received the grant for a specific project. Organization names can be found under the References section.
- Budget: The monetary amount of funding allocated to the project.
- Date: Project start date. If project start date is unknown, closing date for applications.
- Duration: The total duration of the project, typically measured in months or years.
Search
Use the search bar at the top of the panel to explore the 500 available results.
Filter by field
Simply click on Filters, choose the field you want to filter by, and set your criteria.
Please note that some filters operate on the server side, loading a new set of 500 results. In the Projects panel, these include: Country, and Grantor.
The remaining filters will only apply to the 500 results displayed.
Edit fields
You can customize which fields are visible, tailoring the display to your needs. Just click on the Fields option on the left side of the screen, and select your preferred fields.
Note: Not all selected fields may be visible in the list view. If this occurs, you’ll see an exclamation mark next to the field settings, indicating adjustments may be needed for optimal display.Clicking on an item will display full details.
Trend charts
In addition to the detailed table of funded research projects, the Projects Panel includes a trend chart for your expert searches, allowing you to track how project-related activity has evolved over time.
The Projects trend chart displays activity over the last 10 years, breaking down the number of relevant projects by their start date for European-funded projects or application end date for U.S.-funded projects.
You can utilize the trend charts to filter by date:
- Hover over any bar to see the number of projects for that time period.
- Click on a bar to set it as the start date of your filter. Click on another bar to set it as the end date, completing your selected time frame. The publications will then be filtered to match the chosen date range.
Filtering by date will load a new set of 500 results.
