API Types: Autosuggest, Document, Panel API
Whether you’re providing applications to customers or leveraging internal tools for strategic decision-making, our APIs offer a powerful way to integrate innovation intelligence directly into your workflows.
MAPEGY APIs are oriented toward providers of innovation and research applications, such as idea and innovation management tools, strategic consulting firms, corporate R&D departments, industrial solution providers, or crowdsourcing platforms.
These APIs provide direct access to structured data, research insights, and interactive visual panels, making it easier to discover and apply critical innovation trends.
MAPEGY API suite consists of three offerings:
- Autosuggest API: for topic and organization recommendations.
- Documents API: for retrieving innovation-related publications.
- Panel API: for embedding interactive panels.
Autosuggest API (returns JSON)
The Autosuggest API improves search and discovery by generating topic or organization suggestions based on user input. Just enter a term to receive related topics and organizations.
This API is particularly useful for building intelligent search experiences, as seen in our SCOUT query builder, where users can input a topic and receive recommended related topics to refine their queries.

These suggestions help construct complex search queries, which can then be used within the Panel API and Documents API to retrieve relevant innovation insights.
However, using the Autosuggest API is not mandatory—you can also build search queries on your own if preferred.
