Panel API: Filter, edit fields, sort, and search rankings
Rankings provided by the Panel API offer tools to refine and organize results. You can filter to narrow down content, edit fields to customize the displayed information, search for specific entries, and sort rankings to prioritize key metrics.
Filter rankings
Use filters to refine and tailor your results to your specific needs.
- Click on the Filter button located at the top left corner of the panel. This will display the list of available filters.
- Choose the filter you want to edit. Depending on the filter type, you can: Search and multiselect -browse or search for values and select one or more items to refine your results, or select maximum-minimum range.
- Click OK to apply your selected filters. You can apply multiple filters simultaneously to customize your results further.
- To remove a filter, click the X button in the top right corner to reset it. If you want to hide the filters for a cleaner view, simply click the Filter button again.
Our panels provide two types of filters: client-side filters and server-side filters. Client-side filters refine the current set of results displayed, while server-side filters generate an entirely new set of results. These filters are easily identified as they are displayed with an underline. Please note that applying server-side filters will result in additional requests.

Search results
Use the search bar at the top of the panel to explore and filter through the available results displayed in the current dataset. Note that this search only applies to the results already loaded and does not perform a new search in the database.

Edit ranking fields
Your users can customize which fields are visible, tailoring the display to your needs.Just click on the Fields option on the left side of the screen, and select your preferred fields.
Note: Not all selected fields may be visible in the list view. If this occurs, you’ll see an exclamation mark next to the field settings, indicating adjustments may be needed for optimal display.

Sort rankings
You can sort the rankings using the dropdown menu located at the top of the panel.
Simply click on it and select the field you want to use for sorting. This helps you organize the results based on your chosen criteria for easier analysis.
