Projects can be shared in various ways: They function as reports that can be shared internally with your group or externally, saving time on building new presentations.

Share projects with your SCOUT Group

You can share your projects internally with members of your SCOUT group.
Sharing a project internally will change its ownership.

You can view and work on all projects and folders owned by a group you’re connected to. However, only Group Admins can delete or move group-owned projects.
To check your Groups and Admins, visit your Account Settings.

1. Click on the Settings (gear icon) for the Project you want to to change ownership of. You can find the settings in the Portfolio view or within the project itself (top right corner).
2. In the settings menu, select Change owner.
3. Select whether you want to transfer ownership to a group you are part of or to another user within your group. In case the new owner is a Group, the project will be shared automatically with the group's members. If the new owner is a User, the project will disappear from your Portfolio.

Use a shareable link

You can also create a shareable link to share a project with external users or SCOUT users without changing project ownership.

1. Open the project you want to share.
2. Click on the Share icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
3. Set an expiration date (the link will stop working after this date).
4. Optionally, add a password for security. Note: Publicly shared SCOUT projects without password protection may be indexed by search engines.
5. Click on Create Link. The pop-up will display: The hyperlink to your shareable project, the numbers of days before expiration, and options to copy the link, send it by email, or delete it.
   In this pop-up, you will also see all previously created links for the project.

Note: When you create a shareable link, both your page and its subpages will be accessible.

Export your project as a PDF

Additionally, you can export your pages as PDFs. When downloading, only the current page will be included in the export.

1. Open the project you want to share.
2. Click on the Download icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
