Copy Project structure

Besides duplicating entire projects, SCOUT allows you to duplicate just the structure of a project. This feature enables you to reuse layouts, including all panels, text, and customizations, while applying a new query. It’s a time-saving solution when you want to work within an existing framework without recreating it from scratch.

When you duplicate a project structure, the layout remains unchanged, but the data is refreshed to reflect your new query.

1. Decide how to create a new Project.
2. During the project creation process, choose the Copy Project Structure option in the use case template selection menu.
3. In the pop-up window, select the project layout you want to replicate. The duplicated structure will include all panels, text, and other custom elements from the original project, but it will use your chosen query.
