You can use the commenting functionality in your projects to collaborate with your team and gather feedback.

  1. Navigate to the comments box at the bottom of every project page.
  2. Write your comment.
  3. To notify other users, ensure the project is owned by a group. After writing your comment, click Save, and select the users you want to notify (optional).
    Notifications of new comments will appear in the menu and are sent via email once a day.

Comments for external users

Your organization may allow non-SCOUT users access to SCOUT through Single Sign-On (SSO). This is particularly helpful for getting feedback from other stakeholders who don't have a SCOUT license. These users can: 

  • View and leave comments on shared projects.
  • Mention registered users in their comments (they will see the names of group members in shared projects owned by a group).

However, they cannot delete comments or be mentioned by SCOUT users.
