Comments
You can use the commenting functionality in your projects to collaborate with your team and gather feedback.
- Navigate to the comments box at the bottom of every project page.
- Write your comment.
- To notify other users, ensure the project is owned by a group. After writing your comment, click Save, and select the users you want to notify (optional).
Notifications of new comments will appear in the menu and are sent via email once a day.
Comments for external users
Your organization may allow non-SCOUT users access to SCOUT through Single Sign-On (SSO). This is particularly helpful for getting feedback from other stakeholders who don't have a SCOUT license. These users can:
- View and leave comments on shared projects.
- Mention registered users in their comments (they will see the names of group members in shared projects owned by a group).
However, they cannot delete comments or be mentioned by SCOUT users.
