Peers & Partners
With the Peers & Partners tab in SCOUT, you can explore rankings of relevant organizations and visualizations.
The Peers & Partners tab provides a comprehensive view of key players, collaborators, and regional hubs within your search domain. It helps you gain insights into market dynamics, identify opportunities, and understand the connections driving innovation. Whether you're conducting market analysis, scouting for partnerships, or evaluating regional trends, the Peers & Partners tab offers valuable tools to support your research.

Find below a summary of each panel. Click on the links to learn more about each one of them:
- Peers & Partners rankings. Lists of 500 organizations relevant to your search. Use the search bar in the top panel to navigate through the list. Clicking on any organization opens the reference section, where all fields are displayed along with relevant links and documents related to that organization.
- Companies. The Companies panel offers a list of leading companies in your search domain, ranked based on selected metrics. It allows you to identify key market leaders and competitors, spot emerging innovators and smaller specialized organizations, and discover strategic partners for collaboration or acquisition.
- Startups. The Startups panel highlights the leading startups in your search domain, focusing on companies that were not active eight years ago. Ranked based on selected metrics, it enables you to identify emerging companies, evaluate early-stage solutions through funding, patenting, and research activity, and uncover investment or partnership opportunities with innovative startups before they scale.
- Public institutions. Lists the leading universities, research institutions, government agencies, and other official bodies in your search domain, based on selected metrics.- Identify leading universities, research institutions, and government bodies that are contributing to innovation in a specific field.- Find potential research collaborations with institutions.- Monitor public sector innovation and understand how government initiatives, public funding, and research policies are shaping specific industries.
- Network. Visual representation of partnerships and M&A activities among organizations, showcasing connections through shared patents, research, or news mentions. It allows you to explore relationships by industry or region, understand organizational influence, and uncover global collaboration patterns across industries.
- Map. World map illustrating the geographic distribution of the top 500 organizations in your search domain, including companies, startups, and public institutions. It helps identify key innovation hubs and emerging regions, analyze regional strengths, and assess market opportunities and gaps.
